I'm delighted to share that Holden Place Therapy is now a Trusted Partner of The Women's Hormone Clinic a specialist clinic dedicated to empowering women with expert, evidence-based hormonal health care.
This feels like a natural and important collaboration. So much of what I see in my therapy room, the anxiety, the low mood, the loss of identity, the grief for the person you used to feel like, is experienced by women who are also navigating perimenopause and menopause. Hormonal changes and emotional wellbeing are deeply connected, and yet the two are so often treated in isolation.
The Women's Hormone Clinic offers specialist, personalised hormone treatment that helps women make sense of what's happening in their bodies. And therapy offers a space to make sense of what's happening in their minds, their relationships, and their sense of self. Together, these two strands of support can make a profound difference.
I'm proud to be listed as a recommended therapist within their network, and I look forward to being part of a more joined-up approach to women's health.
If you're struggling with the emotional impact of hormonal change and would like to explore how therapy could support you, I'd love to offer you a free initial consultation at Holden Place Therapy.
It was an honour to be asked to be a speaker on the Motherless Mothers Podcast alongside the wonderful founders of the TMM Community, Adina and Lou.
